A Tale of Two Counties

Wren

Red-legged Partridge last week, Pheasant this week in the garden all because of the release of birds for shooting by the local farm.

Good day at Gibside (County Durham). Jays, Nuthatches and Great Spotted Woodpeckers among  the best birds seen. The star (not shown in my photos) was the beautiful autumnal colours. Had problems with the camera but now I've fixed it, I hope.

Difficult to get decent pictures today as the light was so poor. Holy Island, Northumberland.
