News that the Bridled Tern was at Chevington (06:00 to 06:20) had the twitchers in place. Lots of cars and lots of people. A triathlon in the Country Park with the associated loudspeaker commentary. Dozens of dogs and their owners. Topped off with a microlight jamboree with lawnmower engines whining as they approached the barbecue in the local farmers field.
