Well this amzing bird is hanging around and at times giving close-up views. These two shots were taken at Druridge (05/08/2014)
In between the showers and a visit to the tip today I found the Stilt Sand was still in the bay. This time a litle more distant at Cresswell Causeway. Unlike the Dunlin it was not happy with my approach and flew across the pond and joined the lapwing flock.
I was predicting an early Barred Warbler this weekend but notice that they have had their first on Fair Isle, Shetland. Maybe Pied Flycatchers then?
