Left work yesterday with the knowledge that I have a six week school holiday to enjoy.
So planning some new places to visit and hopefuly more photos to post.
Today's new beginnings started with a pair of Partridge, crossing the road, with eight tiny chicks following behind. Fortunately it was very early morning (6 am) and I was the only car on the road so they made it across safely.
The coast was alive with family parties of all the common birds and even my neighbour's House Martins left the nest (rather reluctantly) for the first time.
One of my leaving presents from my colleagues was a nice print of a heron so the opportunity to get some photographs of the same bird was a bit of a coincidence :-).
