Early Morning


The photographs are a bit grainy because of the early morning gloom but the subjects were interesting. The swallow above is a very late nester. All around the bay the young swallows have fledged and are feeding ready for their flight to Africa whereas this one is still incubating.



Similarly this Great Crested Grebe is just starting a nest, whilst the three pairs at Chevington have very large fledglings already (even the Little Grebe below is one of this year's youngsters).




Heading out again to look for spiders (amongst other things).
