A Quiet Week

All three divers have been off the burnmouth this week. Red-throated being the commonest.

SEO will no doubt e a familiar sight this winter and the Marsh Harrier was still present 6th December.

Can't see the Treecreeper for the woods?

A decent flock of 30 Whoopers (inc 5 juv) and 18 Mute Swans at Warkworth.

Other highlights in the Bay area include Siskins, Greenland White-fronted Geese, Pintail, Slavonian Grebe, Buzzards and large numbers of Goldeneye (lots more adult males present).

Only managed one blurry shot as this Sparrowhawk landed very briefly in front of the hide, ruining an chance of Water Rail photos (and one was just about to emerge from the reeds).
