Otters and Terns

Late afternoon at East Chevington and the Turn-over of Terns continues. It is now a great place to watch our common tern species as they come in for a quick wash and rest (150+).

The second pair of Great-crested Grebes were very wary as three Otters played with their eel supper close to the nest. Mixed feelings when I see otters.

Cuckoo still lngering around the hedgerows. Male Marsh Harrier with partly butchered prey headed to the nest.
