Once again, please let me know (via twitter) if my ID is incorrect.







This curious flower was a Compositae plant (hawkbit/hawkweed type). It looks as if it has been infected by a gall wasp/midge. I spent over an hour 'googling' for info without luck and amazingly my request for help on twitter yielded no replies.
